Boxer vs. Brief vs. Panty vs. Jock: Which Harness Fits You

Four cuts: boxer, brief, panty, jock. All unisex, all built on the same O-ring construction. Three questions decide which one you want.

How much coverage? Boxers and panties cover more thigh and hip. Briefs sit higher and show more leg. Jocks are open at the back.

Hidden O-ring or not? Button fly boxers conceal it completely behind the fly. The others show the front panel, still discreetly under clothes.

One ring or two? Two lets you pack and play in the same garment. One gives you a cleaner front panel. More on that below.

Boxer

Extended leg, more coverage through the thigh. The roomier leg and extra pocket space make it a favorite for both play and packing. Pick this if you want something that reads as ordinary underwear with nothing showing through your clothes. See all boxers.

Brief

Classic fit, higher-cut leg, reinforced front panel around the O-ring. The most common first harness, mostly because it's the easiest silhouette to size and to picture on yourself. See all briefs.

Panty

Bikini, boyshort, high cut, and cheeky cuts, in lace, mesh, and smooth stretch fabrics over a structural support layer. Same O-ring placement and support as the boxer and brief, finished differently. See all panties.

Jock

Open back, full coverage in front, barely-there by design. Less support than the full-support cuts, so it's happiest with smaller toys, and it's one of the more comfortable things we make for packing all day. It keeps a packer snug against the body without much garment involved. See all jocks.

Crotchless

Available across brief and High Rise styles if you want access without taking the harness off. Like jocks, less structured than the full-support cuts, so best with smaller toys, and comfortable for all-day wear. Have a look.

Decoding our product names

Two bits of shorthand show up constantly, and they mean different things.

+ means double layer. Brief+, Boxer+, Panty+. That's the two-pairs-of-underwear-in-one construction, and it's where the support comes from.

Duo means two O-rings. Duo styles stack a second ring on the front panel.

So a Brief+ is double layered with one ring. A Duo Brief+ is double layered with two. They're separate features and you can have either or both.

What two rings actually get you

Put the shaft through the lower ring and your toy sits down between your legs, packed and discreet. Move it up to the top ring when you're ready for play. Same garment, no changing, no trip home in between.

Works with any toy that fits a 1.65" O-ring or smaller. Comes in boxer, brief, and panty cuts.

A word on support

Most of our styles run firm. Jocks and crotchless are the exception, less structured on purpose, which is exactly what makes them so wearable. That's a trade, not a downgrade. Minimal and all-day comfortable comes at the cost of holding a larger toy steady.

Rise is a separate choice

Classic is mid-rise. Rise gives more room through the body and carries most of our plus sizes. High Rise gives a higher rise and more room through the body. Low Rise and Biker run slimmer.

Which cuts can pack?

Boxers, briefs, and jocks. We don't make a panty packer, so if packing is what you're shopping for, those are your three. More on packing here.

If you're only buying one

A Brief+. Easiest to size, works for play and casual packing, and the double-layer construction gives you firm support.

If your toy is 1.65" or under and you want one garment for both jobs, make it a Duo Brief+ instead.

Either way, pick the O-ring size from the toy you actually own rather than guessing at something versatile. Two-minute read here, and it prevents the most common return we see.

Lace, mesh, and sensitive skin

Panty styles with lace or mesh still have a structural support layer underneath, and the parts doing the work, the O-ring panel and the waistband, are the same heavier construction as every other style. If lace trim irritates your skin, a plain cotton-blend brief or boxer is more comfortable for long wear and gives up nothing in support.

Washing

Cold, delicate, tumble dry low, separate from the rest of your laundry. The reinforced stitching around the O-ring is what you're protecting. Hot water and a crowded dryer age it early.
