That suction cup is stronger than it looks. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't feel like much/would be too thin based on the way it tapers down towards the tip, but it turns out that isn't a problem. The shape of the tentacle is perfect for pressing against hard to reach spots. It does take a little extra care when cleaning, but it's worth it.
