I've been looking for a Magic Wand alternative because they don't make em like they used to - the last several Magic Wands I've bought have started producing black ash/had the head start rotating painfully/otherwise given out before the warranty period was even up. The Palm Power has been a welcome alternative that gets regular use in our house, but doesn't quite cut it as a replacement for the Magic Wand.
My preferred position for vibrator use is lying atop it. I was worried that the angle of the head, while nice for use on one's back, would be inconvenient or even unusable for lying down on. this fear was unwarranted - on a soft bed, it's reasonably comfy for lying on top of. It is also much slower to overheat in that position than the Magic Wand in my experience. When I'm using it in other positions, I also appreciate that it's lighter to hold than the Magic Wand.
My main gripe with the PalmPower is it's just less powerful and RUMBLY than the Magic Wand. I can get off with it, but often switch to the Magic Wand when it's time to go in for the kill.
